# Personal invites

> A private booking link for one specific person, with its own note, its own availability and an expiry date.

A personal invite is a booking link meant for one person. It doesn't appear on your public booking page, it can carry a note addressed to them and it disappears once it's been used.

Use one when you want to say "here's a time to talk" to a particular person, without opening that slot to everyone with your link.

## Create one

From **Services**, click **Personal invite**. You can build it two ways:

* **From an existing service**. Inherits that service's duration, price and location.
* **Quick invite**. Give it a title, duration and location on the spot, without creating a service first.

Then add:

| **Contact name and email** | Who the invite is for. Used on the booking page and kept with your contacts.                                |
| **Personal note**          | Shown at the top of their booking page. "Hey Manon, glad we could connect. Pick a time that works for you." |
| **Expires on**             | The date the link stops working.                                                                            |

You get a private link to send them directly.

## What makes it different

**It's not listed.** The invite never appears on your public booking page. The only way in is the link you send.

**It's single-use.** Once the invite is booked, it expires automatically. The link can't be forwarded on and reused by someone else.

**It has its own availability.** Under the invite's settings you can carve out one-off times, on top of your regular schedule. That's how you offer someone a Saturday morning you wouldn't offer the public.

**It expires on its own.** Unbooked invites lapse after 30 days by default and you can set any date you like. Expired links show an expired page rather than silently failing.

## After it's booked

A booking made through a personal invite behaves like any other: it shows in your Inbox, respects your approval setting and appears on your calendars. It's marked as coming **via personal invite**, so you can tell it apart from public bookings later.

A personal invite that's already been booked can't be deleted, because the booking record depends on it.

  Personal invites are the polite alternative to sending your general booking
  link after a conversation. The note at the top makes it read as an invitation
  rather than a scheduling chore and the expiry keeps stale links from lingering
  in someone's inbox for months.
