Tikk emails both sides of a booking. You control which ones reach you; the ones your clients need are always sent.

Your preferences

Go to Settings → Notifications to choose what you receive.
If you use manual approval, leave New meeting requests on. It’s the only thing telling you a request is waiting and unanswered requests get declined automatically once their slot has passed.
Payment receipts and other transactional emails are always sent, whatever these settings say. They’re records, not notifications.

What the person booking receives

These aren’t affected by your settings. They’re the emails that make the booking work:

Reminders

The 24-hour reminder goes to both of you. Yours can be switched off under Meeting reminders; the attendee’s is always sent.
The reminder is the single biggest lever on no-shows. If you’re tempted to turn yours off because your calendar already reminds you, leave it on anyway. It’s also the moment you’d notice a booking you meant to move.

Language

Tikk speaks English, Dutch and French. Set yours under Settings → Appearance → Language; it applies to the app and to the emails you receive.
